Meaghan Martin: Getting Mean?

Meaghan Martin — who starred in Camp Rock and 10 Things I Hate About You — has been tapped to star in the upcoming sequel Mean Girls 2. "I will be playing the lead role of Jo!" she gushed on her Facebook page.

Like the first movie, Meaghan will play a girl who's new to school and befriends an outcast who wants to take on the Plastics (Maiara Walsh from Cory In the House will play the leader of the mean girl group). 

 

Will she be corrupted and turn into a total bee-otch? Our money's on yes. Which is totally OK... just don't go the Lindsay Lohan route in real life, Meaghan!

Meanwhile, you can get with the Mean Girls 2 clique yourself if you happen to live in Atlanta and are over the age of 16. They're holding an open casting call for background actors! Should be an easy gig: Just stare at your cell phone and sneer.
