One of the most-awaited acts appearing at the annual UK event, Coldplay closed out the third day of the 2011 Glastonbury Festival on Saturday night (June 25).
With Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion in fine form, the English rockers received a raucous ovation from the crowd as they took the stage at Worthy Farm.
During the course of their set, Coldplay offered up a solid mixture of classics and new songs from their highly anticipated studio album - which is due out sometime this fall - including "MX," "In My Place," "Violet Hill," "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall," and "Major Minus".
The concert comes as the band is set to release an iTunes EP, "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall," which will include the title song along with two accompanying tracks, "Major Minus" and "Moving to Mars."
